Owner description: This beautiful sandstone museum was opened in 1920 and showcases many fine examples of Angkor Wat statuary.

At least a place in Cambodia where some sculptures can be seen! The museum is clean but too dark. It is a pity as many objects cannot be appreciated. The toilette is awful!

Small museum of pieces largely from Angor Wat area and temples. We saw it after seeing Ankgor Wat and without it probably does not have necessary context. Ankgor Wat has many statues and best pieces missing, some if which are in museum, so get an idea of what it must have been like. Small number in display, some information given. Don't know why could not photograph in museum --they're stone sculptures. Only costs $3.

A good way to spend a few hours, especially viewing the film on the projection of Angkor life. Many statues on display but you cant take pictures, only in the garden area. Worth visiting.

This attraction is very close by to Royal Place so combine these together. Its worth seeing. It will take you 1 hour to go through here. I don't think children would enjoy this. Once you start seeing one statue they all sort of look the same to me.
There are children begging at the front entrance with a strong smell of urine in the air.
The museum cost $3usd to enter.
Worth seeing once but would find it interesting to go back.
