This is a nice architecture with typical architecture: conical roof and plated with gold. Many statues inside.

The Silver Pagoda is definitely a must on a trip to Phnom Penh. The buildings are beautiful although there are areas where there is no access. The gardens are lovely and it's a nice break from the chaos of the main streets to visit here.
The Silver Pagoda is located on the south side of the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh. The pagoda is floored with over 5000 silver tiles each weighing 1 kilo.It is famous for its 90 kg solid gold Buddha and an emerald Buddha The Silver Pagoda is open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m for visitors. In the pagoda there are many other interesting artefacts and jewels and is said to be one of the few temples to remain intact during the Khmer Rouge regime. Photography is allowed only from outside.A good place to visit when visiting Phnom Penh.
I was confused when reading about the royal palace and silver pagoda on trip advisor, as it makes it sound like they are two separate things to visit. We got to the royal palace and got a guide for $5 per person (recommended) and she told us she was taking us to the silver pagoda too. Entry fee to the palace and silver pagoda is $10.25 total
So just see my review on the royal palace I guess
The only other thing to add is you are supposed to wear a top that covers the elbows and something that covers the knees but I think I can remember someone coming out with a singlet on so I'm not sure how strict the rule is. But out of respect I would do so anyway.
This is the best place to visit in Phnom Phen. Do take a guide. It cost only 10 USD. Teh rates are fixed and you can get a recipt at the counter as well
