We spent a good 1 hour walking and do a bit of shopping here. Its easily accessed by tuk tuk and we bought few pairs of fake sport shoes and rucksacks here. Our little boy had his share of buying some tiys too. It is also good for antique hunting here. just be ready with money. However, beware its too hot and humid inside and be prepared with light clothing.

Very touristy. Shoes, t-shirts, handbags, placemats, slacks, pillow covers, religious figurines, post cards, and much more—all can be found here. But don’t forget to haggle.

What came to be called The Russian market (but previously had nothing to do with Russia or Russians) was always there, there for many years. But it became the Russian Market in the 1980s when large numbers of Russian people living in Phnom Penh began to regularly frequent it. They were in Phnom Penh because Russia was helping to re-develop the city following the dreadful Civil war years of the Pol Pot regime in the 1970s. But as a market goes, it was just a market -- with lots of touristy stuff and fake brand goods. This was a curiosity visit by us, curious to see something that was a bit "Russian" in Cambodia, only to be disappointed.

Great for souvenirs, bike parts, glitter and food - this market has it all!
We visited in the afternoon and managed to pick up all our souvenirs for family and friends. If one shop doesn’t have it the one next door does.

Very good to find cloths and dress and a lot of stuff over there. Good and reason prices. Highly recommended if you want to but clothes.
