The hotel is really in a great location, with a walking distance to the famous Hagia Sophia , the Blue mosque, Topkapi palace, Galata bridge and many other historical sights of the old town. The hotel is perfectly renovated and equipped, has all that is necessary: free wi-fi, air conditioning, satellite TV and decent bathroom. The restaurant is on the top of the building with a beautiful view of Istanbul, Golden Horn and Bosphorus and with excellent menu offer. What is particularly amazing, it's very helpful staff and a very good price for all this. I can not wait to come here again!

Room tip: the view of the "Golden Horn", preferring the upper floor

If you are a big family,it is not the best place to stay unless you split by rooms on the same floor. The rooms are really tiny, but it is Istanbul Old Town,so unless it's 5 * don't expect to get big space. It is clean enough, but everything is old. There was a problem with AC in two rooms we rented, one window wasn't closing so take care if you have children. The breakfast was veeery average, for two days there were not any cornflakes, one day coffee was not available. The view of terrace was beautiful. There was only 1 kettle for 3 rooms and iron was not available anyways.I realised, that whatever they write on booking will not be 100% from what to expect. The staff was trying to be friendly, but it seems that for many in Turkey is hard to keep the attitude away. But location and price are winners for this hotel.Metro station is 3 min walk, where boat, train and tram stations are very close. Also walking distance to Galata Bridge. Also, the restaurant next to hotel is fabulous.

The room is tiny, it smells very bad, it's old and not clean. But what matters most is that the staff is very rude and unacceptably impolite.
Not recommended at all. Very surprised of all the positive comments this place has cause it doesn't deserve any of them!
