My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel recently and we booked through another website so got a good price for 6 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel.

It is located very close to a lot of the main tourist attractions like the Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque and close to a tram stop so it was easy to get around the city and lots of restaurants nearby too.
Our double room was small but just what we needed with a decent bathroom, fridge, kettle, toiletries, TV, wifi and hairdryer. The room was kept immaculately clean everyday and fresh towels and bedding given daily.
The breakfast that was included in the price was plentiful and included very traditional Turkish foods but if you don't fancy it there was bread, jams, cereal, coffee etc. We enjoyed it and it was well prepared.
The staff in the hotel were particularly friendly and helpful. They were around 24/7 and gave great information about local attractions and advice. They also helped us book our taxi to the airport and a boat trip on one of our days which made things very easy. One of them even helped us with Turkish pronunciation!

If you're looking for an affordable, small hotel in the Old Town of Istanbul I recommend The Sirkeci Park Hotel and can't give it enough praise.

Very good location for exploring the old city of Istanbul, walking distance from Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque and Topkapi palace. The closes tram station is only around 100 metres (Gulhane) and you can travel around all major attractions via tram. Good service, clean and well maintained. The staff is very helpful. Rooms are a little small but functional.

Room Tip: Pick a room on the top floor, We had no, 604 and could see Hagia Sophia from the room! :) Go to the terrace early morning to catch some beautiful views of the bosphorous strait and seagulls.

Hotel is centrally located, service quite good, Breakfast with many choices, free coffee/tea in the lobby, tram station near by around 100 meter to the left of the hotel, what to see in IStanbul are all to be reached on foot. Many restaurants around, Spice bazaar/grand bazar are around, hence recommend.

Room Tip: Airport transfer to be booked in advance, cheaper than usual booking through hotel. Rooms on Bosphorus side better, Bath room little small but ok.

The location of hotel is in the heart of Istanbul .All famous monuments like Hagiya sofiya, blue mosque ,topkapi palace are walking distance .i was happy as I entered my room no 605,I found Hagiya sofiya from the window of my room.on request they opened terrace to enjoy the view.we can see blue mosque, Hagiya sophiya, topkapi palace and Bosporous bridge.
Rooms are small but functional as they provided kettle, hairdryer, complementary water bottles .Room no 505 is small for three people .
Staff is good and helpful and won't bother as we can enter hotel at 12.30 at night or leave at 3.30 in the morning. They helped to book the dervish dance show.
The tram station is few feet away so we can use it easily to explore Istanbul comfortably and cheaper way.
