The fish sandwich is not that great, but the ambience makes up for it. Buy the pickled cabbage and add it to your sandwich. It is the real thing, lots of locals not a lot of tourists when we were eating. Can't beat the location.

No concept of welcome; completely disinterested whether you stay or go. Unable to communicate and unwilling to try. Dry - ie no alcohol. Food was sandwiches and looked mediocre. 90% empty. Wi-Fi? You're kidding, right?

Fortunately, some other diners pointed me to an adjacent restaurant - Sanat - which proved to be the opposite. Great welcome, reasonably full, wonderful fresh fish, alcohol, wifi, live music - and same outside location, right next to the water, this time with heaters!

The place is mainly busy for the existence of ferry Loading/Unloading point. Maximum Bosporus day/night cruise starts and ends here. you will also find people catching fish here. Bridge in Eminonu connecting European side with Asian. Best thing to eat here is FISH SANDWICH. There is a Tram station. Night Views are more beautiful than day. Sit for a while and see how lifes passes here. You are going to love this place.

They make great fish sandwiches there. After you get the sandwich and sit down, other people suddenly appear and start offering you for stuff you need (like a napkin or an extra salad). Overall the sandwiches are delicious and everything you are offered is very cheap. Nice for a quick snack. I don't know how the chefs don't get seasick - they float all day while you stay on the shore and watch them go up and down.
