I took time to review the Bebek 4 months ago and Trip Advisor still shows my review as pending. It would really be a nice day would respect the time and effort people put into making this a useful site.

Stayed: January 2017

I have been to Bebek Hotel seaview coffee shop over 30 years. Beautiful seaview, great venue for friends for a chit chat.. You can enjoy your cigarette with your coffee and winter time you will be warm with open air heaters.

I enjoyed my stay at Bebek Hotel. It's located closely to shopping, cafes and pure Turkish beauty. We enjoyed a room that overlooked the Bosphorus and the evening cocktail hour is incomparable to other hotels in Istanbul. I will be back there again.

Stayed: October 2015

With a small but tasty menu and rich bar Bebek Hotel's front cafe is the place to spend a couple hours with a friend in the middle of Bosphorus. You are literally on the sea while enjoying your drink and watching beautiful yachts passing by. Service is always warm and they really take care of you and your guests. One of the best locations in town to take a friend from abroad, as well.

My stay at the Bebek Hotel was most enjoyable. This was a business trip but I had some time for sightseeing in central Istanbul as well in the vicinity of the hotel. This is a small, European style hotel. My Bosporus-facing room had a great view and the room itself was large, attractive, well furnished, and spotless. The bathroom was stylish and very modern. I found the hotel staff to be accommodating. The front desk staff spoke good English. The English ability of some of the dining room staff was limited, but there were no problems. The included buffet breakfast offered substantial variety, with mostly cold items, but omelets were prepared to order. The outdoor terrace of the restaurant and bar was very pleasant. This is not a good location if your goal is sightseeing in the heart of the old city, particularly since traffic in Istanbul varies from heavy to not moving. But the Bebek area of the city is quite upscale; there is a good variety of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. These range from informal and modest in price to quite expensive. All of my dining experiences were good. A nice trip is to take a free shuttle boat across the Bosporus to a very upscale restaurant on the Asian side, under the northern of the two bridges (Sultan Mehmet Bridge) across the strait. This is the Lacivert restaurant. Their boat shuttle will pick you up just before the bridge on the European side. Finally, there is a large Starbucks next door if you get homesick for American coffee and snacks.

Room Tip: Bosporus facing rooms with balconies are best - also the most expensive.
