We stumbled upon this place after having breakfast at a restaurant on the side of the road. It is AMAZING. It is proof that there is nowhere in the world as trendy as Istanbul. Amazing coffee, roasted in-house, incredible decor and fantastic coffee. If you're staying in the center, it is quite a way, admittedly. But this is the real trendy Istanbul. Go have breakfast-for-lunch and then sit here.

There is a balcony upstairs with a view of the Bosporus and the mosque. It is PARADISE. We spent 3 hours here just sitting and hanging out ... amazing.

We stumbled on this place on our way to Sakip Sabanci Museum. It is nestled in a little corner just off the coast road. If you take any bus to Cinaralti stop, then start walking to the museum, you will spy it on your left, behind another restaurant. If you get to Sutis restaurant, you missed it. Go back, because the coffee is amazing. We just had drip coffee with milk. The kids had cookies: the oatmeal raisin was amazing, but my daughter loved the chocolate chip. Once you have your treats, climb the spiral, steal stairs to the balcony, where you will have a beautiful view of the Bosphorus, and sit in comfortable chairs. We much prefer it to the cafe inside the museum, and it is much cheaper. Two coffees and two cookies cost 24 TL, about 8 usd.
