The hotel is owned by Suleiman and his family. The room is very cosy and management and staff are incredibly friendly. Suleiman helped organise a two-day taxi hire at a very reasonable rate and was very helpful with travel information. The breakfast was amazing and incredibly hearty. He and his staff speak English very well and are very knowledgeable about visiting sites. With his help I visited Didyama, Miletus and Priene and he had very helpful suggestions for visiting Ephesus. He is also friendly and we played backgammon. They also have wifi and a restaurant. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Selcuk.

We spent one night in this quaint family run hotel. The owner Suleyman went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Arranged for us to go on a tour with an awesome guide Tahsin and we were extremely grateful that he had. I would love to go back and definitely will stay at The Rebetika Hotel again

My wife and I stayed at the Rebetika Hotel during our visit to Selcuk. The hotel is situated in a quieter part of town, and is a reasonable walk from the train station. In the morning, they serve breakfast on the roof where you have a nice view of the surrounding town and can even see the ruins of the Temple of Artemis. The staff are very friendly and helpful, a few times we just hung out and chatted with them since the hotel was quiet. The rooms were clean and a good deal for the price. From the hotel, or a nearby road, you can take a taxi maybe 10-15 minutes to the ruins of Ephesus. Selcuk is a really nice town and it was fun just walking through it, shopping, and meeting the locals. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the Rebetika Hotel to others.

Excellent hospitality, great advice, and a fantastic breakfast for modest pricing. Clean, nice small balcony and sunset view from terrace. Family run atmosphere. Just off beaten path under the castle fortress and st John basilica.

We stopped in Selcuk for four nights earlier this month at the end of a two-week trip around Turkey. Our stay at Rebetika was one of the best we have had! The two hosts Salema (?) and Ibrahim were incredibly welcoming. Upon check in, we were invited onto the rooftop terrace to have tea and dessert while we were educated about the local area and how to best visit the major attractions. Each day we would chat to the hosts and they were fantastic to chat to. The rooms themselves are spacious but a little dated. Everything was perfectly clean so this didn't really bother us. The night we left, they had just opened a restaurant on the terrace. We were lucky enough to have a lovely meal there, too. If you're planning to visit Selcuk, stay here!
