We generally go for longer hikes, but after having already done a rather challenging one the day before (the last part of the Israel Trail), we decided that a nice, easy, short, picturesque hike would be most suitable -- and the Red Canyon trail absolutely fit the bill! You can do a longer hike here, but if you choose the short one, you can make it through in less than a couple of hours. The walk through the Red Canyon is easy (there are a few moderately challenging areas where you have to climb up/down crevasses, sometimes with the help of metal rungs or ropes fixed to the walls), but nothing even a small child can't manage. And the views are just amazing. Highly recommended for an easy but picturesque hike.
