We tried some dishes they were O.K. no more. From our seats we could see the kitchen and were astonished to see one of the cooker smoking while cooking. When I told the hostes about it she couldn't see why it's a problem.
I will not go back to eat at a place were the chef is ok with it.

Traditional eastern european food. Their speciality is smoked meat which is great and "varenyky", eastern european dumplings, that the elderly ladies are making at a table next to the diners. For dessert try the varenyky filled with nutella. The atmosphere is very familiar and you can find yourself dining at a table alongside strangers which adds to the experience. The only problem with this place is finding a parking space and the fact that it is almost always fully booked.

If you dont know what East European food is - you must try this place. Great steaks and all the special first courses. Dont miss the eggplant, chopped liver and the "ikra" (dont ask what it is - just eat and enjoy). Oh... and dont miss the pickeled cabbage and cucumbers. Besides the food - they have almost every beer you can think of. The atmosphere is very local and casual, but very happy and busy.

This is the place where you go to eat the food our parents ate, way back then. It'll have dishes your gramma makes like krepalah, fried steaks, fried onions. Lots of food for cheap!
Always fresh and plenty of alcohol. The service is excellent and the atmosphere even better. Take a look at the walls with all the history.
Recommended!
