This is a veteran restaurant famous for its chopped liver, Rumanian kabab and similar food. A very busy place at lunch.

I've been there with a friend. As beer goes - this is one of the places with the best selection around, with more than 7 beer taps, and countless bottles.
As good goes - I have ordered a stake, which was ok. It was good, but not excellent, unfortunately. My friend ordered the pork ribs, and it was excellent. Their expertise is in ribs, and I felt sorry I did not order ribs as well.
During our arrival the place was packed, but it got roomier during our meal.
To sum things up - a nice place with wonderful selection of beers and excellent ribs. Stick to what they excel at.

Thank ezaton

What I love in this place is the service, it can be packed and still you'll be treated as if you were the only client in the place. The cuisine is also very good, unique in Haifa... Just disappointed by the beer, they should put more attention on what they serve. Anyway, this won't be the last time we will go there... that's for sure!

This is one of the oldest establishments in Haifa, over 55 years in business (quite uncommon for Israeli restaurants).
The food is simply excellent (although calling it "Jewish" is, with all the pork portions on the menu, a bit ridiculous...).
We loved the chopped liver and the hering, and very much enjoyed the smoked meats and the home wine.
Fast and friendly service, interesting and colorful decor.
We will definitely be back.

Visited recently with friends and was a great positive surprise. The service was professional. Huge portions, the wine selection is larger than used to be and cheap, beer in a variety rather cheap as well. The soup was a blast, meat amazing and perhaps the good coffee was my largest surprise.
If you plan on arriving Tuesday or Saturday book ahead or wait in line.
