When I studied in Jerusalem sixty years ago, there was only a Jewish city...we were not able to enter the Walled city. In 1967 we all flocked to see the Wailing Wall and walk in the Arab market and the Via Dolorosa. Now the modern Jewish part of Jerusalem has become a very large spreading city with old and new architecture, and a few lovely villages and twons outside it.
