This is more like a B and B as it’s small and very friendly. The owners are very interesting to talk to and invite guests to take tea with them. We enjoyed discussing the country with them and found out stuff that as a tourist you don’t always get a chance to talk about. The breakfast was excellent, lots to choose from. The room was basic but comfortable enough with a good bed and a hot shower. A plus was a kitchen adjoining the rooms for guests which also had comfy chairs and a tv. WiFi worked well. Madaba is an interesting town, worth a day exploring. We ate at Abbey Road restaurant, near the John the Baptist church, it was very good. Another plus is that Madaba has lots of bottle shops and many restaurants serve beer and wine. I would certainly recommend Tell Madaba and would stay again!

This was my final accommodation of my trip. I stayed for two nights. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. I couldn't find the hotel initially so I phoned them and they came and found me and took me to the hotel. They invited me to their balcony and drank tea with me whilst chatting. They drove me to the bus station so I could visit Amman. They recommended a local restaurant which was perfect. They even washed a few of my shirts for me and gave me a packed lunch for my early morning flight.
The room was comfortable, well decorated with air con and private bathroom/shower.
The breakfast was the best breakfast I had in Jordan. Great variety of things to eat, hummus, fallafal, different breads, omelette, jams, cheese, juice coffee, tea.
Thank you very much for a lovely relaxing stay.

I wished to have a hotel closer to the airport but did not expect such an enjoyable stay. The couple running the hotel are simply wonderful to talk with so be prepared for lots of tea.
The place is basically a very large house with the lower floor converted into comfortable self contained rooms and a common eating area. This is where I enjoyed a great breakfast.
Very much recommended.
