i just checked out from this 4 star hotel.
first thing that annoyed me was
the burger restaurant next to the entrance...this is very bad welcoming smell .the room needed a deep clean ...there were stains everywhere ..the furniture is old ..the smell of the blanket is very bad smell .the breakfast buffet was free with the room but it doesn’t worth waking up for ..very cold and its limited choices . the swimming pool is bad location bad environment bad scene . near the hotel a noisy hussainiah ( place were shiaah are gathering and praying)the wifi is free but its very slow
the only good thing in this hotel is the staff are very nice an helpful ..
the hotel need renovation it must change the entrance some where a way from the burger resturant ..

"Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.

Sincerely,

Le Royal Hotel in Kuwait I think has about five branches, so it depends on which one you're in. I stayed at Le Royal Sharq which is smacked at the middle of the Kuwait city, a few minutes drive to some of the key places such as Shabu house, the Kuwait Towers, The Grand Mosque, the Souk Al Mubarakiya, and Al youm (Heritage village by the coast). In short, it's in a very good location. You can save some money on taxi fares, roughly, you get to these places for 1.5 to 3.0 KD. The drivers are generally kind and honest. Take a map with you if you are not familiar with the place, some drivers have limited English or pretend not to know where it is and you could end up going on a longer ride and paying more.

My hotel room was a suite; good and clean. Wi-fi was excellent. Air con was okay. TV had only a few channels. Room service staff were very friendly and accommodating. This hotel serves breakfast, but they don't have an major outlet/ restaurant where you can eat lunch and dinner. There is a small diet restaurant beside the front office/ lobby but if you're in for something heavy after a busy day, you might be disappointed. You can order food by phone, the staff have a list of outlets you can call directly after dialing 9. The meals arrive 55 minutes to an hour after your call. The rates are reasonable, for a standard suite, mine was at 40 KD.

This hotel is good for families with children.

Had a business trip in Kuwait for the 1st time, it was. Beautiful sea view room.

Space wasn't very as expected, it was tight for me and my college. WiFi Free.

But if you order a suite of course the space is perfec!

The seafood restaurant downstairs was very smelly, so it was really disturbing. Even the elevator was smelling like fish because of it!

Staff are friendly, there is Shake & Stake downstairs which is really a good restaurant and value for money also!

Didnt try the seafood one tho.

Fitness Center : very old and rustic and most of the equipment are dying slowly. Nothing was working that much, WiFi is slow in the Fitness Center.

A/C forget about it in the winter just open your balcony and sleep well :D

Clean and worth to visit.
