Unusual hotel with the rooms built inside the mainframe of the building. Every room has technology built into it with variable moodlighting in the walls. Good fast free internet withlarge televisions and a large comfy bed.
The staff were helpful and happy to chat about the hotel.
The 360 revolving restaurant is amazing with good food and a unique view of Doha each time you look up from the food.
Still a young hotel but learning fast.
My only critisim is that it is a long way from the centre of Doha city but then Doha city is not a big place.

the management assigned to manage this hotel are way below international standards, they have reminded me of my experiences in hotels in the MiddleEast 20 years ago...the customer service is very very bad, and for any request be it simple or difficult, the answer is always ready: "NO we cant". on the day of my check out and since i will be leaving early and my breakfast is included, i called and asked for the possibility of having my breakfast in my room while paying for the difference. the answer was "NO we cant!". can someone explain to me why not? this was not my only request, i once requested a car to take me to the airport and the answer was " we cant"!

in summary, the staff are not willing to walk the extra mile, or even to walk the required mile.

its a pity that Qatar now is progressing to become another Dubai, while this hotel and despite its location and atmosphere failed to meet the ABC of standard hospitality.

one more point, the reception which is considered the first point of your interaction, the guy who was in charge (egyptian) was talking to me without any eye contact, and did not give me even a basic welcome. this is what i meant by the ABC of hospitality that is severely lacking in this hotel.

and finally, Food is soooooo bad!

Who knew there was a hotel and restaurant in the Aspire Torch. The rooms were fabulous! Comfortable bed...all digital controls. The 360 restaurant had great food; wonderful view and service that needs to improve in its attentiveness. But overall great!

i was here during the Asian games of 2006 and did not see it coming that they will convert this tower to a hotel. Amazing view of Doha, the pool at the 19th floor is just the right mix to enjoy a morning with a 2-year old. i applaud also the staff as we were escorted to our rooms and was briefed about mostly everything we need to know, very friendlym very accomodating. when we called to request asisstance on the internet TV, the crew knocked in almost immediately.. the food at the breakfast buffet in the flying carpet restaurant was lovely also. We availed of their Holiday offer so it's real value for our money. thumbs up!!
