I like the Intercontinental as it allows to stay in area of Abu Dhabi without facing the traffic jams. Even when arriving from AUH or DXB airport one can avoid the traffic jams.

The hotel offers a great working environment in the rooms and also upstairs in the Club Lounge.

The Club Lounge has nice staff. Food selection a little bit limited, but the place is very spacious and therefore offers a little privacy which I prefer over other lounges.

Rooms have been renovated not so long ago and are up to date.

Prices are quite high, but that is Abu Dhabi always.

I am a repeat guest at the Interconti and I am always pleased by the outstanding kindness of the staff.
The rooms are spotless and have a good view - the sea side is not as nice due to the constrution going on at an arteficial island opposite to the beach of the hotel. The BreakfastBuffet in the "Selection" is one of the best I have seen in the whole Middle East - every wish is catered for. For those who book the hotel via travel agents - organise your airport pick up directly with the Concierge - it works much better, you have the choice of brand newl uxery cars and it is usually cheaper than via agents.

We found this to be a customer/guest friendly hotel with excellent facilities and a team that genuinely went out of their way to ensure that you enjoyed your stay.

There were many dining options with choices of theme such as Italian, FishMarket, Flaming Grills and a new Belgian Beer Cafe. All of these were well positioned for a 5star hotel in terms of food offer and price. We dined at the Belgian Cafe and the FishMarket and enjoyed both experiences due mainly to the excellent staff and the way that they took care of us. In addition the team in the club lounge were extremely attentive and efficient.

The room was clean and comfortable with good facilities.

Overall a great stay with the staff at all touch points making a real difference

Stayed for 3 nights prior to 6 night hol in Dubai, weve been to Dubai many times but this was our first time in Abu Dhabi. Check in around 10am was seamless and all of the staff were polite and courteous at all times. Tried all restaurants except Fishmarket due to unfortunate circumstances but the Italian, Chamas, Yacht Club and the Belgian Beer Bar were fantastic and although attached to the hotel the varying levels and short walks gave you the impression it was more like a village, not a hotel complex. The short walk to the beach via the marina for a pre dinner drink at the Beach Bar was a nightly ritual and the bar staff were extremely friendly. Drinks and food really good quality and no complaints about the price as similar to any major European city. Will definitely return in order to visit the Fishmarket and can thoroughly recommend ths hotel. Many thanks to the Duty Managers for their professionalism and we hope to see them again soon.
