My colleague and I were in town for business and found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. The food was outstanding! We had the Arugula salad and croquettes for appetizers and both perfect. For entrees we had the prawns, that were delicious but a tad annoying as I had to take the shells off. Colleague had britolo with onions and it was excellent as well.

What separates this place from other restaurants though are its deserts. I ordered the poached pear in red win and it was literally the best desert I’ve had in my entire life. The homemade ice cream was out of this world.

Overall, outstanding!

Along with a group of friends, we went there to enjoy crab meat (Casquinha de Siri) based on previous experience from one of us. In the end the receipt changed a lot and it's not as it used to be. In my view, the menu is also based on extremes of very light or very heavy food and all of them a bit expensive for what they offer.

The person who greeted us at the door and all the servers were very nice and efficient, and the place has a nice ambience - low ceilings but cosy, tables with blue checkered table cloths. We were really looking forward to the dinner after having researched restaurants quite a bit. We were looking for a great meal in a charming place. What we got was a charming place and an unfortunately terrible meal. First came the bread - the plainest store bought white bread with a garlic creamy sauce that was odd and some olives that were fine. Sadly, all of our four meals were uninspired and heavy. All with heavy clunky sauces (the orange sauce on the lenguado fish was thick and gelatinous), the anchovy (which was the special of the day) was somewhat overcooked and had an excess of garlic, even the specialty of house, octopus, was not tasty sadly. The pasta I ordered was partly raw and I was worried about the two bites I did eat. We really wanted to love it when we walked in and saw how cute it is, but the food was just very subpar.

We did receive a recommendation from a friend. Read some reviews and decided to give it a try. We ordered 3 different dishes, and none of them were good. High prices and bad food. The waiter was very friendly and did not match the rest of the experience. But what really matters is the food, right?

This restaurant has always kept a good quality in a variety of well-prepared dishes. However, it has dramatically increased the quality of dishes with a nice variety of fish and meat. Service was much above average, waiter had a deep knowledge of available wines and their suitability as well as freshest fish available. A must go, try to make reservations as the place is not big and quickly fills up.
