Located on a very busy street with many street vendors, the hotel is an acceptable choice for a short stay in La Paz. We did not find many restaurants in the area but the hotel restaurant was very good and the service was exemplary. The breakfast buffet was also well appointed with your usual fare along with some hot items, great coffee and a selection of juices.

We stayed here on 3 occasions over 2 weeks and based on the traffic, it is NOT convenient to the airport. Each time we came to or from the airport, it was an hour or more drive into/out of the crater!

The hotel is rather charming with some nice outdoor areas and a bit of a Spanish influence. Our first room was acceptable but the rooms we had on our second and third nights were better and off one of the outdoor terraces.

The front desk staff were excellent and they also have a great locker for your personal effects if you don't want to tote them along on any tours or side trips.

The hotel is walking distance to the Witches Market, San Francisco Church and Plaza Murrilo. It is also a short distance from the yellow cable car which is fun. We also arranged a great visit to Moon Valley and the Kiki viewpoint (a must) which were the highlights of La Paz.

There is a decent English Pub just down the street that was quite good and close to the hotel.

If in La Paz again, we would choose this accomodation.

We were very happy with this hotel. The location is good and within walking distance of the main square and attractions like the witches market. The security of the hotel is also very good. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice. We will stay here again.

Pretty expensive for what it is, although nice. Couldn’t give me a few extra bucks I needed for a cab as cash out against a credit card payment like any good hotel not exchange euros... great building, nice rooms but mediocre breakfast

Arrived at hotel after punishing flight from Australia via BA. Wasn't disappointed. Rosario is well located close to many of la Paz's attractions. the hotel is immaculately clean and has a really nice ambience. The room we got had 2 queen sized beds and ensuite. Beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was part of the deal and included continental as well as cooked options. The restaurant where breakfast is served is. also really nice. The Staff at this hotel were super helpful and friendly. This hotel has a bit of character in the best sense. You don't feel like you are just visiting the same formulaic set up other hotels go for.
On another point, If you are going to la Paz prepare for the altitude adjustment. My tip is don't plan on doing much on the first day. The hotel arranged transfers which I recommend you use at least on arrival.

We stayed here for 3 nights on either end of our trip to Lake Titicaca. Hotel Rosario is conveniently located near the witch's market and good restaurants. The hotel is clean with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful. The beds are comfortable. The rooms are quiet and we had a good nights sleep. Bathrooms are a decent size with bathtubs, but the shower flow is poor, probably because the water is solar heated. In the morning it took quite a while to obtain hot water. Breakfast buffet is extensive and very nice. They opened early and provided coffee when we left very early on 2 mornings. Good restaurant for dinner (not open for lunch).

Room Tip: We stayed in room 325 which is off the street and faces the inner courtyard. It was very quiet and we slept well.
