First the positive: this is a clean, quiet, odor free hotel room. Great shower. Nice big towels.

The negatives: we had to pay “taxes” on arrival after paying for our stay in full (we thought) on hotels.com. This is an unethical business practice, and is the essence of “bait and switch”.

The hotel shuttle from the airport (the reason we chose this hotel) does not run early enough for our flight so we had to hire a car.

The restaurant was a disaster. The server spilled soy sauce across our table and onto the floor before we could order. I asked for a glass of red wine. I was given an iPad to order it. The first screen asked for my geographic preference. The pretentiousness was overwhelming. On the fourth screen, I hit a dead end with the only options being bottles (and I just wanted a glass). I gave up and ordered a glass of sake. The server came out with a shot glass and measured 1.5 ounces into each of our glasses. We paid, and left for fast food next door (which was an enjoyable, stress free meal).

Good location, short distance to airport(in bad Bogota traffic...), shuttle available, close to 2 shopping centers. Good rooms, very good services, would greatly recommend the package that gives you access to the executive lounge

Hotel is conveniently located only 15 minutes from airport. Shopping mall only 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Quality restaurants surround hotel. Staff very courteous. Room clean and comfortable. Good size gym on site with indoor pool. Definitely pays to be a Marriott Platinum member as access to complimentary breakfast and evening snacks and drinks in the lounge on the 10th floor a nice perk.

Room tip: Secure hotel. Staff very courteous. Food excellent. Room clean and comfortable. Good size gym with indoor pool on site.

Great experience as everyone from time I checked in until I left stepped up as well as Marriott corporate in handling a booking for a nite that I wasn't on Bogota. Handled everything on my morning transfer with a driver to the airport all ready for me at 4:00 AM. Extremely impressed
