A most ornate hotel! Our room (Number One:Tristan und Isolde) was very spacious,as was the bathroom. It was delightful having breakfast in the equally ornate dining room. The cheese french toast is a must. The staff are lovely (thank you Francisco and Carlos). My only criticism is the noisy morning traffic (our room overlooked the street).

Beautifully decorated hotel in the heart of La Candelaria, Bogota's historic district. The rooms are spacious with gorgeous furniture. The staff was so nice and helpful, they always had a smile on their faces and were able to answer all of our questions. They arranged airport transfers for us for both ways easily as well. Breakfast was included with the room and was delicious. A wonderful place to stay in Bogota!

The Orchids Hotel was everything the reviews suggested! Centrally located in the Candelaria area, our suite in this boutique hotel was beautiful, and the bathroom was bigger than most normal hotel rooms! Breakfast was amazing, and the coffee delicious.
The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone

Room Tip: Go for a suite on the 1st floor

This hotel is everything a person could possibly want .The rooms staff and breakfast were all great. We had to leave on a very early flight so they packed us a lunch and a coffee to go. The hotel is in a great location very central with lots to see and places to eat.

Lovely lovely place. It felt like home away from home.
Their coffee was the best I sipped in Colombia
The staff were very kind and friendly. Rooms are better in real life which was a nice treat. You feel like you’ve stepped back into time once you walk thru the doors.
There is major construction going on next door so if you are sensitive to noise please suggest a room away from the construction site.
I would definitely stay there again especially if you are interested in checking out all these museums within walking distance: Gold museum and the complex of museums on 11th Street that includes the Botero Museum, Colombia's National Museum, a colonial Art collection and the museum of money--all surprisingly wonderful! I would def skip the emerald museum.
I had a blast on Bogotá Bike Tour. Super fun and exciting to be cruising around learning about coffee, street art,
fruit market, history.

And then it was always so nice & relaxing to go back home every eve to The Orchids Hotel .
