Our tour was Angie (Angelica). Her english is superb. She took the group through La Candelaria, where we had chicha, and also other important places downtown. It was very nice overall. We got the map and the bracelet, which you can used to get discounts at several places downtown.
A suggestion would be to make the stop at the cafe a bit shorter.

We had already done a free walking tour in Medellin coming to Bogota. The tour in Bogota was much less passionate and exciting. Furthermore I got the feeling some of the information was lacking detail or was not objective. Also our group was bigger > 25 persons. All in all it was OK.

Angie gave a great tour on Tue April 3rd. Fun, detailed, very clear and great English. The tour was a good overview of the central area and allowed me to know which places to go back to and visit later in the day. I ended up grabbing a chicha and hanging out in Plazoleta Chorro de Quevedo chatting with some local students while listening to a live band. Great time.

I did the exotic fruit tour a couple of days ago run by Daniel C (I also started the free walking tour but quickly realised I wasn’t prepared - a tip for anyone doing the tours make sure you haven’t had a big day up until the tour like I had, that you’ve eaten, have water with you etc because the tours are 2 & half hrs)
The exotic fruit tour was great. Daniel the tour guide was so helpful with everything & went above & beyond for us for example helping the girls order an uber after, changing my money with me because I had a big note that shops won’t accept generally& giving lots of advice for travelling the rest of the country. The knowledge he shares about Colombia’s history and art was interesting and his English is perfect. He is also an artist and gave us his website with portfolio of photos and it’s very impressive.
Paloquemo market is great with so many different fruits, vegetables and other fresh produce. Mostly you only see local people so it’s a nice change from la Candelaria & it’s also a good option to go on the tour because it’s pretty dodgy getting to & from the market on your own - it’s not a nice area so good to go on a tour if you’re not super street smart & don’t know much spanish. The fruits were delicious & good to hear a bit about them.
