We stayed at Mangoes resort and had a number of meals at the restaurant and had breakfast there each day. The food was pretty good, but we really wanted the lobster as it is their signature dish but due to the weather they were unable to source lobster or so we were told. One night as we were leaving we walked past a large group that were tucking into lobster when we were told it wasn't on the menu. It left a slightly sour taste with us. But on a whole the food there was good and the service was very good.

A peaceful place to dine away from the action. Food is generally very good though the service somewhat variable. Their nightly special is certainly good value but the wine list is overpriced. Pleasant all round, especially near a window on a hot steamy evening.

We were staying at the Iririki Resort and wanted a bit of a change so we checked trip Advisor and headed out. Mangoes is a walk from getting off the Iririki boat. On Google maps it is about 20 mins. You walk through the suburbs, everyone is very friendly. The restaurant at Mangoes is not very big but we didn’t book and there was plenty of room. Happy hour was from 5pm to 6:30pm.
The prices are about standard AUS prices or resort prices here. It took a while for the food to come, getting use to that, island time I think.
The food was nicely done. Fresh ingredients, lots of flavour. Service is always very nice.
At the end we decided to get a car back to the boat. The desk can organise a car for you.
I would recommend this place based on our visit.

Good choice on the menu, well presented & yum! We had steak one night & it was one of the best steak meals that we had on Vanuatu. Staff were friendly, polite & made us feel welcome.
