Description: A great place to hang out for the day. The Beach Bar is famous for its wood fire pizzas, but offers a large choice of alternatives as well. The kids just love playing on the beach with all the free water toys while Mum & Dad relax in the beer garden. Sit back and enjoy the stunning sunsets over Mele Bay whilst enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. Keep an eye out for the special "Friday Night Fire Dancing" evenings, Tuesday Movie nights on Port Vila's biggest screen, right on the beach and our Sunday Sessions starting with live music from 1pm followed by our great new show "Sunday Kustam Karnival" where Bank's Snake Dancers meet our talented Circus Performers". Something for everyone at The Beach Bar!

Really enjoyed the day relaxing at the Beach bar with friends and family.
The food is amazing. The live music was perfect for the setting. And being able to wander down to the beach for a swim at anytime was a big plus in keeping us there.
Remember to bring cash as there is no card facility.

We have been to the beach bar many times over the trip did the fire show, circus and movie night. All were good but get there early 5pm for the fire show and order straight away as they get crazy busy. They even let us stay and watch the footy on the tv after they closed. Very relaxing at sunset.

We had a great night here on our second night in Vanuatu. Be sure to book a table and arrive by 5pm. Best chance then of eating prior to the show at 7pm. Was very busy the night we were there; long wait to order food and drinks and ditto for our meals, but well worth the wait.
Also visited for the Circus night on Sundays- not as spectacular but fun all the same. Movie night on Tuesdays also a fun thing for the family- 15, 13 and 10.
Nowhere near as busy on non- Friday nights

Visited on fire demo night. Chock a block with happy tourists and the fire show is a must. As a result, the kitchen struggled but not unexpectedly. Great night but bookings essential.

We booked in for the Friday night fire show and the place was heaving with people and they kept loading people in. It is super busy, long waits for food and cash only. We had a 5.15pm booking, so allowed ourselves plenty of time. But the food order line took 40 mins and then after waiting 90 mins before asking where were our pizzas as it was so busy and we were mindful of that, only to find out our order was lost. We were offered no compensation for our 3 starving children, a drink each or extra pizza or something would’ve been nice. The fire show was great, but bear in mind that the performers do not get paid by the Beach Bar, so when they hand around the bucket at the end please be generous.
We went back on Sunday night for the circus, it was very average and my steak sandwich was a piece of steak in a hotdog roll, very disappointing.

Hi Margth
Many thanks for taking the time to review the Beach Bar. You certainly came at the busiest night of the year! School holidays can be a bit crazy that's for sure. So many people want to see the show and have such a limited time to do so which makes for a pretty big crowd during the school holiday period. We am sorry you had such a long wait and if it had of been brought to our attention at the time we most certainly would have helped you out. All we can do now is offer our apologies. We shall take this onboard and endeavor to do better.
Just a heads up on the Vanua Fire performers, they actually do get paid by the Beach Bar as well as having all their equipment supplied by us. Being generous at the end of the show is your way of showing appreciation and to supporting the local village.
Cheers
