Definitely not as advertised. The hotel was taken over a year ago by someone from China. There are plans to redevelop it as advertised in the office but in the meantime, I wouldn't recommend the hotel - see below. Highly recommend a car to get around though.

The good: really friendly office staff, size of the room and air conditioning.

The bad: wifi is horrid and only seems to work near the restaurant and only half the time with lots of webpages such as SBS news blocked by the hotel. The bathroom has no air so smells of mold and mildew which is all over the shower and the towels never dried each day. No garbage cans in the living room with no daily housekeeping either even though its advertised. Broken couch so kept falling towards the middle when sitting on it. 2 available channels on the tv. Horrid breakfast with 3 choices and very runnny/uncooked eggs. The pool and hot tub - pictures attached and there really are no words. I wouldn't stick a toe in that water as it looks toxic. Looked all over for their advertised infinity pool - trust me, there isn't one. And there is no laundry in the room even though the website advertised it.

My wife and I spent this new year at Cocomo resort, nice room and beautiful beach. Staffs were extremely helpful. Beach side restaurant and the food was great. It was so romantic to go kayaking during sunset time and enjoy the beer with tropical music. The pool wasn't very big but it's good enough for two of us. Anyway, thanks for the wonderful staffs and will see you next time.

Room tip: Water Front Room are the best

We booked in for a family holiday in December 2019 to January 2020 for a 2 week stay.
We were told they were completely booked, but there were empty rooms for our entire stay.
The resort is old, run down, and is a home , permanently for Chinese families.
Although the staff were fantastic, as always in Vanuatu, the owners were not, speaking to the staff like dirt, and in front of all to see and hear, extremely disappointing.
The resort offers free breakfast, which if you care for their set menu every day is fine.... lunch, well same everyday , and dinner...well same everyday yet again.
Pool was extremely dirty and took 2 to 3 days to clean, outdoor furniture was falling apart, and play ground was unsafe for children under 5 years.
Extremely dissatisfied with the resort and would never stay again.... this was our 9th visit to Vanuatu, and we believe there are other resorts in Vanuatu that are managed better and offer better facilities to choose from...
Also... reviews posted previously are old and don’t take into account of new owners!

We were visiting january the 10, checked out again after 2 nights
Internet NOT working
TV not working
Poor service in restaurant waitin 45 minutes for starte and maincorse came separety 2+2 (4 people)
When we checked out manager refused to refund anything and also refused to face problems but stay in room and let the front office lady handle this ( he was in a room at the resort and snapchatting with staff) poor poor judgement. (chinese mgt )
Booking,com offered 10% refund not much but throw willingness to help.
Cannot recommend all pictures are photoshoped
And a lot of facilities are just warned out

We just checked in on holiday in port vila

Photos are old and from the previous owner!!! Resort looks very different and definitely not worth the price. No chess board, hammocks, washing machine, very very few outdoor furniture and restraunt furniture. A lot of other guests were complaining and left to go to another resort, as did we. Staff were lovely however the upper management is not. Pool green and looked as though it had been for a very long time. Only cleaned after much hassle from guests and even then it did not look safe to swim in. Spa looks as though it has not worked in months. Outdoor furniture minimal with not enough for a quarter of the guests and was very old and broken. Mold on ceiling fans, cushions - deep cleaning needs to occur. Free breakfast but only 3 options and very small and of bad quaility. Canoeing but paddles broken. Wifi is not high speed at all. Quite loud music and dogs barking across the lagoon. Not very close to the city centre which would be ok if the resort allowed for any water sport facilities, working pool/spa, decent amenities but it does not. Would not recommend to anyone.
