We had an amazing dinner at Seeds on our last night in Myanmar.
The setting is beautiful, elegant and modern with both indoor and outdoor seating looking out on a small lake. We were greeted warmly by Lucia, who is one of the Swiss owners and the creative/conceptual force behind the restaurant's name, story, design elements and commitment to staff training and building schools in the country to further education. We were impressed before even touching a bit of food!
Lucia's husband, Felix is the chef and everything we tried was delicious and prepared to the highest global standards, from the starters and mains to the cheese plate at the end (all the cheeses are currently flown in to the country as Myanmar doesn’t yet have domestic production).
The restaurant is not far from the airport. We had a late night flight and were so happy to have made this reservation as a last memory of our time touring the country.
