Clean rooms with firm/great beds. Somewhat small space but comfortable, however if more than 220lb or so, shower likely difficult to get into.
Hairdryer provided. Minibar in the room. Small balcony.
Good breakfast. Pleasant receptionists with good English.
In the heart of downtown - really.

Room tip: not the last or the first floor, choose middle floor for quietness

Apart from the name (which is a bit too generic, making the hotel somewhat hard to find) we liked virtually everything about Hotel City. It is a friendly, very well run little hotel at a perfect location. The staff was really welcoming and helpful. The room was kept perfectly clean and pleasantly cool, which we highly appreciated because of the blistering heat outside during our five days' stay. The beds could have been a little softer for our taste.

We took great pleasure in the photographs of ancient Tbilisi that decorated the walls of every floor. Breakfast was fine: everyday a good choice of fresh food, in a cosy little restaurant. All in all highly recommended.

The location is wonderful between Liberty square and Old Meidan, access to many restaurants and activities, highly recommended. Friendly helpful staff specially Marianna and Gorgi. I will surely reserve again when in Tbilisi

Room tip: Ask for rooms 22 or 23, new rooms in the new part of the hotel

This is a lovely hotel with super friendly staff and perfect location, just minutes from the main sights of interest in Old Tbilisi. We had booked the room with panoramic view, and it was way better than we expected and ideal for two people. The room has huge windows with breathtaking180 degree views of the old city. Marianna, the manager was very helpful and accommodating with our hotel reservation. We reached the hotel at 3am (did not have to pay for that night stay) and our room was prepared and even decorated with a cute bouquet and Georgian wine as a lovely celebration for our anniversary. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a budget yet comfortable stay right in the heart of the city, with a warm and welcoming staff.

Room tip: Pick the standard room with a panoramic view if you're a couple looking for short stay

The best thing about this hotel is the location- within 2 minutes walk from freedom square. We checked in late and we found our rooms to be smaller than usual. Booking.com mentioned that there is a balcony but couldn't find one. Unfortunately, I was also not upgraded. The hotel is well maintained and everything appeared to be new. The hotel doesn't come with too many frills. You can get good view from the Terrace of the old city. Good night life within 10 mins walk.
