Side dish in korean is more attractive to me than main dish. Some main dish are to heavy to me and wih limited chocies of veggie. So the 8000w set is really enough to me. Its fine to me by paying for the side dish and just like 20 mini main dishes on the table.

There were 6 of us in the restaurant, which really seems authentic and cozy, only 5 tables and almost all the time its were occupied. We were lucky to have one for us. But unfortunately we were served like 20-30 min after seating, people came after us were served before, which was not fair. The food itself is good, seems authentic and different from other restaurants but unfortunately all additional side dishes are paid additionally by 8000 won per person, so it means the cheapest main course with side dishes costs 18000 won which is comparable with much higher level restaurants. Please keep it in mind before making a decision to go there. Usually in other places side dishes are free.

Very yummy and friendly atmosphere. You know it's good when the locals eat there. Yes, the decorations are old because it is displaying antique farming equipment... dust exists too but I wouldn't describe it as "dirty" nor did I question the sanitization of the place. The side dishes were scrumptious. I would recommend this cultural experience!

Having read a lot of favorable reviews, we went to dinner in this small family-operated restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We ordered their house specialty which consisted of chicken soup, rice and a huge assortment of side dishes. The price per person was 8,000 won, which roughly was equivalent to less than 400 pesos. For 4 orders, we were served 30 different side dishes! Some of the side dishes we did not recognize but we tasted everything. Some were bland, others were salty. It was difficult to ask what these were as the lady who entertained the diners spoke very little English. We also ordered the green onion omelet with octopus, which was very tasty.
The place was very small, just 4 tables for 4 each. It is so small, there is no restroom in the restaurant and you have to use the restroom in the family's living quarters upstairs.
Highly recommended for those looking for a traditional Korean fare. And, by the way, it is open 24-hours/day.

It's a little dinky place so do google and find out from intrepid diners how to find this place. We got rice and over 30 side dishes - and you can ask for top ups of the ones you really like! Mostly vegetarian except for a few dishes. Awesome, squeezy, eclectic and a great find!
