“Perfect size and interesting”

this is not a huge museum so you can maintain your interest during all your visit. A lot of videos, pictures and detailed descriptions that makes your visit more enjoyable. The staff is also very friendly

“Big, interesting and Free!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 March 2012 via mobile

We have been to Seoul a few times and had done all the touristy things. We came here and were pleasantly surprised by the huge area of display of Korean history. Very interesting and almost all are labelled in good English. We have become mini-experts in Korean history after this visit, and realized that by AD 500 artifacts from the West had arrived to Korea through the Silk road. Excellent place for people interested in history. Oh it is also completely free and open until 7pm on Sundays!

“Beautiful Setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 March 2012

The museum was well set out on 3 floors and two wings. The gift shop is excellent, and carries many titles on Korean history, culture, etc (can even find academic publications from Ewha University Press and others) in English. Also has a large collection of CDs. The grounds were also marvelous; the Reflecting Pond and the Pagoda Garden make for wonderful spots for picknicking!
