“Good summary of Korea's last 70 years”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2012

Impressive building and presentation. We had a 45 minute to explore this place and stuck to the main exhibition hall on the 2nd floor. The museum is more a photographic and written presentation of modern Korean history than artifacts. Free entry.

“Best Museum in Korea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 April 2012

The grounds surrounding the museum are lovely and well worth a visit, especially in the Spring and Fall. Inside, there are 3 levels of objects and artifacts relating to Korean culture. The ground level starts with the Stone age and moves through the different periods like 3 Kingdoms, Shilla kingdom etc. The objects are well presented and have some explanations in english. The Museum is very complete, from all the Museums i've seen in Korea this is the best. Don't miss it if you like history and culture.

this is not a huge museum so you can maintain your interest during all your visit. A lot of videos, pictures and detailed descriptions that makes your visit more enjoyable. The staff is also very friendly
