I stayed here twice, for four nights at the start of my holiday in Korea and one night at the end.
The guesthouse is ideally situated just three minutes walk from Gyeongbokgung metro station (exit 3). Close enough to the city centre to access it easily, far enough out for it to have a more chilled feeling. Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon hanok village and Insadong in easy walking distance. Hide & Seek has a welcoming, relaxed, arty feel about it. The two rooms I stayed in, Summer and Spring, weren't huge but they have all you need, including AC. There's a rooftop terrace, free laundry, communal area and loads of information about Seoul.
Breakfast is brilliant, western with a little Korean twist, served in the little café in the basement.
Mr Lee is a great host - always smiling and happy to help. When my plans changed and I found myself unexpectedly back in Seoul, there was only ever one place I was going to stay. I'm happy to recommend that you do too. More
