I spent two weeks in Nairobi in July staying at or working out of several hotels. I don't usually have the opportunity to explore so many in a short period of time. I'm going to use the same criteria in reviewing all of them
- Rooms/Food/Overall Ambiance-Grounds/Taxi service/Security/Service.
Hopefully the comparison of five hotels by the same person is helpful for someone.
If you are looking for a long stay place, Garden Apartments is a great option
Rooms -Fully functional kitchen, nice rooms, big bathrooms,
Food - Breakfast served in the morning
Ambiance - Small but nice pool, parking under the apartments
Taxi's - will need to call/arrange for a taxi
Security - Good security - car and id checked before entering the grounds, large walls and razor/electric wire.
Service - helpful smiling service
