We stayed at Kilima for 5 nights and honestly didn't want to leave this place.
Food is very good, Game Drives in the Maasai Mara as well as very new and comfortable vehicles made it truely a great experience.
The views from each tent and from the Restaurant are breathtaking. Not to forget the luxurious tents themselves with great mattresses, pillows, showers and terrace.
Every night bonfire, sounds of the bush around you and bushbabys at night complete the wild ambience of this place.
Staff was extremely dedicated and enthusiastic to take care of every guest and made us feel at home.
I also recommend Bush Walks to get to know more about the surroundings and vegetation around the camp.

We saw all the big five during our stay, river crossings, and almost everything else there is to see you could possibly think of.
Special thanks to the whole team of Kilima!

My family and I stayed at Kalima Camp during our visit to the Masi Mara and we had the best holday ever! I have never experienced such high levels of hospitality. Due to the friendliness and warmth of all the staff, we felt so much at home. Everything from the food to the game drives to the standards of the rooms was out of this world! I can't wait to come back.

Room Tip: All the rooms are amazing!

Choose Kilima Camp, you won't regret! It has the best staff and also best view in Masai Mara. You are on the escarpment so no mosquito and perfect view but you are also very close to Mara Triangle, which is the best part of Masai Mara. We spotted already 9 different wild animals, just outside of our tent and my 10 years old son was amazed (Zebra, Giraffe, Waterbuck, Impala, Jackal, Wildebeast, Dikdik, Mongoose, Baboon) And their guides are so experienced that you have a very high probability to spot Big 5!

We had three nights at Kilima in a beautifully appointed tent, including private fully equipped bathroom, enormous comfy bed and good storage space. The view from your decking over the Mara Triangle is lovely.
Food was good, if a little 'plain' but plenty of it, and a nice touch is tea/coffee available all day in the lounge/restaurant area. The strongest point about this camp is its proximity to the Mara Triangle area, which is only a ten minute drive away by the camp's land rovers. This area is teeming with wildlife, and you get to see the Mara river too. We saw thousands of wildebeest gathering for a river crossing, and our very knowledgable driver-guide (named Ouanji) was expert at finding amazing wildlife experiences. Temperature in September was pleasant, cool mornings and evenings and warm but not too hot in the daytime. We didn't see a single mosquito - at this altitude and time of year they don't bother you. September is also a nice time to come as there are plenty of baby animals to be seen.
A wonderful experience, thank you Kilima camp!

Hello
Thanks for your review and your post.
We have been delighted to welcome you at Kilima Camp.
We have set up Kilima Camp and careful choose the location as it was offering stunning views over the Masai Mara and fast access also to the Mara Triangle game reserve which is the wild and more preserved part of the Masai Mara (low density of camps about 12 in High season compare to hundreds on the other side of the Mara River - Narok part). September is perfect time and season to witness the great Migration !
As you mentioned there is no mosquito at this altitude - we are at 1800 above the sea level. Hence Kilma Camp is happy to welcome family even with small children !
I hope you will words and hope to welcome you may be in the future
Kind regards and thanks for all

We didn't want to leave the camp as it started to feel like home! Staff are friendly and attentive always greeting you with a smile. The views are incredible.

There were so many highlights to the trip and most were thanks to James who was our game driver. Thanks to him we saw a Lioness kill and also the migration which was something that we didn't think we would have a chance to see.

We would recommend the walking safari too. Ours was led by a King of a Massai tribe who was also a medicine man. Our trip to a Massai village was a great experience too.

We chose to have a massage and the bubble bath overlooking the Mara bush. Nancy was really lovely and the massage was just what we needed to combat the effects of the 'African massage'.

Really special experience!
