This hotel was a nice surprise for the first 3 nights of our 15 day tour o China. We didn't know what to expect but the hotel was nice and clean. Surprised to read the sign in the bathroom that you can't drink the water but they give you plenty of bottled water. It was a little warm in the evening as the government had not allowed the air conditioning to be turned on yet. We are in the restaurant, they did not speak English but had a tablet to order from so it was fine. Breakfast is very nice.

Room Tip: Ask for the back of the hotel, you can see more of the Olympic Park

Hotel is OK, but not nearly what you'd expect for the price. The hotel's main advantage is being located 10 minutes walk from the National Convention Center so if you're attending a convention, it's convenient to stay here. It's right across from the Olympic Park as well, but aside from the convention center and the Olympic Park there is little nearby in the way of shops or restaurants.

The hotel rooms are again OK, but not great. Room of my recent stay had a stained carpet and worst of all is the ridiculous central temperature control that leaves all rooms uncomfortably hot (alternative is to open the window and suffer the terrible air quaility). This horrendous temperature control is a major drawback of this hotel. Amenities are good; there are a few English language TV channels; and the beds and linen are fresh and comfortable. Breakfast is pretty good, with mixture of Asian and western choices.

Wonderful staff and great breakfast buffet. We started out our tour of China with three nights in this hotel. Close enough to several of Beijings major attractions. The hotel restaurant was very nice and served hamburger and fries. The hamburger was ground cows tongue but it was not too bad.

The hotel is excellent , very good stay room comfortable every detail is correct.
To be preferred the executive rooms who guarantee the access to the 16 executive floor even for breakfast. Excellent the possibility to walk indoor to reach the exhibition hall . Bad is that the unique restaurant is Chinese ..... an international restaurant really missing .

Spotty censored internet. No control over room temperature. Chinese produce and meats. Moderately Worn Mattresses. Unfiltered water in sinks. Few amenities. English speaking staff is rare.

The only reason to stay here is if you are attending an event at the convention center. The hotel is far from restaurants, cultural centers, business centers, etc.

When I asked for the temperature in my room to be turned down, they brought a moldy smelly swamp cooler to the room. I also was refused when I attempted to convert a $50 bill to RMB because the bill had a 1/4 inch rip.

If you have to stay near the convention center, the Intercontinental is a better choice.
