I am Russian/American, and I can honestly say, this was one of the worst Russian restaurants I've ever been to. We have ordered a lot of Russian classics, since we had 9 people, and all of them (borscht, Olivie salad, mushroom julien, pot roast, salad "Nej'nost') were only so-so.
The service was horrible! We had to ask 4 times to bring drinks for 3 of the people! All of the food was already out by the time they brought out the drinks. Now check this out: they make you PAY for bread AND butter separately! As a Russian, I found that insulting!
The atmosphere was totally uninteresting - no Russian decor at all, a horrid, barely in tune Russian band playing 70's American classics and Russian pop songs.
My advice - avoid Traktirr Pushkin at all costs!
