Since we were in HK as tourists, why not do touristy things too? You take a small (free) boat to the restaurant, sit by the window w/ a good view, enjoy sort of expensive dim sum, and have a good time. You will probably not go back to Jumbo if you visit Hong Kong again, so might as well enjoy it for the first and last time :)

When traveling with my Mainland staff I always take them to the Jumbo floating restaurant after a trip to the Peak. It provides a great location and back drop for photo snapping mainlanders. The food is good although the portions some what small and pricing that leaves my mainland friends in amazement when 5 dishes with rice and no alcohol exceeds HKD$1500. Regardless its a great tourist stop.

This has spoiled our Hong Kong visit. Dead fish in the aquarium and bad food in the restaurant. We went with the Aberdeen Tour with Splendid which isin hindsight totallay overpriced.

You can experience the old HK but the food is not good and too expensive. It's not really valuable and you can find more better restaurant in HK. Its food and price just for the visitors only.

As the title, plus a free ride on boat to see the Aberdeen fish village(Dont expect too much). Quality + the attraction worth a bit expensive than other Dim Sum restaurant. **Locate the shuttle boat pier at Shum Wan / Aberdeen before you go!
