I was here with my 2 boys ages 12 and 9. Our tour guide was Henry. I just want to start this review by saying that this exhibition is an incredible experience and opportunity that you'll remember for the rest of your life. Obviously, there are no photos nor selfies to record the experience. As such, the mental images of the exhibition is actually quite vivid and rooted. This tour is literally in complete darkness. They do a great job simulating daily activities of walking in the park, shopping, crossing the street and much more. The facility is not big but it is mind boggling how I felt I walked through all the simulations. They incorporated sound effects, smells and motions that make everything seem so real. Henry was a great guide, we followed his voice to navigate through the exhibition and he was very attentive to my kids making sure they were okay. The last portion of the tour was spent talking to Henry in the dark. He explained to us that he was born blind, where he went to school, how he learned English. I could have talked to him for hours. He asked my son to describe the color RED to him so he can gain the perspectives that we have. I can't say more great things about this place, it is a MUST GO!!!!

Thank you for your sincere comments which is indeed a great compliment and encouragement to Henry and other tour guides. Although we try our best to simulate the setup as realistic as possible, the tour guides are the one who could bring you the truly immersive experience to visitors.

You are welcomed to promote such unique and special experience to more people. This would definitely support social enterprise substantial development.

Hope to see you again in other Dialogue Experience!

My 11 year old son and I really enjoyed this unique tour. As advised, it would not have been suitable for our 6 year old. The most memorable part was speaking to our well-informed guide Henry, who has been blind since birth and offered a different perspective on Hong Kong life. Recommended and worth the journey to Mei Foo.

We were in HK visiting for 2 weeks and tried to visit this exhibition. We called numerous times and days with no answer, however the recording stated that it was open 7 days a week. We also checked their website which indicated the same that it was open. Since no one ever answered the phone we decided to just go in person.

We were a bit concerned that it would be closed since we came around Chinese New Year, so we waited until after the new year to visit.

When we arrived at the location (it was a long trip to get there) we were disappointed that the location was closed. Again, after viewing their schedule that they posted in front of the location once we got there, it still showed that it was open 7 days a week.

It was disappointing since the advertising of the times open was obviously not true and it was a real waste of our day because we spent so much time to get there. At the very least they should’ve updated their hours and recording correctly.
