Owner description: Since 1904, trams have been running from East to West of Hong Kong Island. Over the last century, Hong Kong Tramways witnessed the development of Hong Kong, and the tram remains an efficient and the most economical mode of public transport in Hong Kong. Today, Hong Kong Tramways owns and operates a fleet of 163 tramcars, including 2 antique tramcars, carrying a daily average of 230,000 passengers. It is the world's largest fleet of double-deck tramcars still in service.

I don't understand how this could ever be considered a tourist attraction. I mean it's a tram, packed with people going to work and back, and not scenic at all.
Save yourself the hassle, nothing special about this.

The double decker trams are a really fun and cheap way to get around. The only down side is that they are really really noisy.

Sit on the upper deck after peak hour, start from any Tram station, travel to the end of the line towards the East or West. Bring a bottle of water. Sit back - weather permitting - not during the raining seasons - take down the window and enjoy.

It runs all over HK proper, but good for short direct distances. HK can get VERY humid. I prefer to take a cheap taxi or the MTR.
