Location: Quite good. Behind opposite street has restaurants, bars, etc. Walked a distance and there are malls. What I like is from the airport, there is this free shuttle bus service that you can board and alight right opposite the hotel.

Counter staffs - good and bad.
When I arrived with my friends, I forgotten my reference booking, the staff allowed me to use the internet from the internet room for free (it's HKD30 per half hour). There is no FREE WI-FI when today, guests always go online to update friends or family.

When discovered our room was not right, my friend called up counter and was screamed over the phone by a male staff rudely. We requested to change room and it was delayed an hour. After then, checked again, still wrong, and delayed another hour. It wasted our two hours just like that.

Baggage Staffs - friendly and willing to help and also gives direction.

The bedroom: It was stated three single beds but ended we were given "queen-sized" which were joined by two single beds and a single foldable bed (see picture). In the end, given 2 single beds and a SOFA BED!

Paid for almost SGD1200 for 3 nights, definitely not worth the stay. Need to improve!

Just stayed 2 nights 6-8Nov in 20th floor suite.
Totally misled by the photographs in Agoda and Kimberley sites.
Suites on floors 20 and 21 are not renovated. Old, worn, cheaply fitted and the worst I had seen in my hundreds of visits to HKG over the years.
Even junk dealers would hesitate taking in their curtains, upholstered furnitures, safe, shower head.
Basic hot water shower mix is inconsistent.
Staff - gets work done but certainly no helpful nor very courteous.
What else to expect from a hotel that fares so poorly with their Suite Floors? Stay away! !

Well located and for Hong Kong a good sized room (if a little tired, but it is not trying to be The Peninsula) - but - let down by staff attitude and wi-fi (lack thereof)
Front desk and breakfast buffet teams need enlightenment that paying guests do fit into the hospitality industry and wi-fi time was expensive and only available in the lobby (not possible in the room, free or otherwise)
And a travel tip for HK (which we forgot this time) - if you are a non-smoker request a room on a non-smoking floor - we did get a change of room/floor but it needed some 'persuasive discussion' on our part

We recently stayed at the Kimberley, great location in Kowloon for easy access to Shopping strips, cafes, bars, MRT and other transport options. This is a big plus. The room was very comfortable, with TV, lots of complimentaries ie. combs, toothbrushes and paste, and slippers.

There are 2 (two) BIG dissappointments. 1. NO FREE Wi-FI anywhere in the hotel. Internet is pay by time at 30HK dollars for 20 minutes - very expensive and inconvenient. Thankfully McDonalds is just a short walk away and worth it for free access. Note to Kimberley - skip the complimentaries and provide FREE Wi-fi for all your guests in their rooms.

Dissappoint No. 2. After getting back to our country we found that we had been charged for BOTH the Pre-Authorisation AND for the accommodation. A series of emails about this matter continues. NOT VERY HAPPY !

Staff try to make every effort with English however it is frustrating that in such a large hotel many details are lost in translation.

Room Tip: We noticed there are rooms in the centre of the building which do not have windows to the outside. Ask for ones overlooking the street.

The location of the hotel was perfect, very close to the shopping areas and restaurants. The suite room was alright but i would recommend a modern upgrade already. The bed in our suite was not so comfortable every time my sister beside me moved, i would wake up. There's also no free wifi in the room. What really annoyed me was the very, very lengthy check-in. Ive never had a check-in take that long. They had long lines and the process with the front desk agent took so long too when we've had a reservation online already. The chinese restaurant though was very good. It is even voted as one of the restaurants with the best dimsum.
