Their front desk service is excellent & the housekeeping service is excellent too!! Keep it up the good service!! I will definitely come back again for my next trip to Hongkong. Every morning when I was greeted morning by the housekeeper whenever they are outside my room level. The room cleanliness was up to my standard. The best location & best value in Tsim Sha Tsui area..... The room was big enough for the triple

Stayed 1 night at this hotel with another couple. When we arrived around 2pm which is the normal check in time, we were told that our rooms were not ready. We were told to come back in an hour which we were then assigned rooms on the same floor but rather far apart. What irks me is that this hotel does not provide complimentary wifi or bottled water. Rooms are very tiny and clean, decor is outdated.
Location wise, this hotel is in a good spot and close to the shopping areas.

Our accommodation at the Kimberley was in 2 stays of 5 nights per stay .
The first stay our small room was near the elevator shaft and housekeeping. Adequate but very noisy. Banging and clanging from who knows where but also from other guests. The in-room safe was not bolted down and I could pick it up and walk around the room with it. Hence we had to use the hotels safety deposit box which was a nuisance.
On check out we requested a better, quieter room for our return. We were placed in a room equally as small as the first room. The TV was on a desk the far end of the room (instead of mounted on the wall in the middle) so lying on our respective beds gave both of us sore necks. The noise from guests was unbelievable at all hours of the night in a corridor room. Thin walls I guess.
The hygiene of the linen was questionable with old blood stains and a torn doona. Upon request this was changed.
The front desk was disorganized at the best of times, with the so called concierge area unmanned when most needed. A command of the English language by the front desk staff should have been better for the job that they were doing.

Value for money? No.
Stay there again? No.
Good Location? Yes.
Internet? Too expensive.

Room Tip: do not have one

Stayed 5 days at this hotel from 21 to 25 Dec 12. Was given a room with single beds they accede to our request to transfer to a non-smoking room with double bed on the 19th floor. The double bed room is as cramp as the single beds with views you would rather let your curtain remain drawn. Location of hotel is good with the Tsim Sha Shui train station less than 10min walk away. There are numerous eateries within walking distance and shopping areas too. Will recommend if you're looking for good location for shopping and eating. Stay feels more like that of a 3* hotel, with normal service and a tired looking room. Nothing really nice to boast of, so give it a miss if you're here for some romantic stay. This hotel will be good choice if your purpose is to return each day after full day of shopping due to its good location.

I have stayed in this hotel twice and each time it was excellent. Its in a prime location for ferries, trains ect. The rooms are spotless and well maintained. The breakfast has something to suit all tastes and is well prepared and displayed. The dining room is spacious comfortable and very nicely decorated.
The checkin procedure is quick and efficient and the staff are very attentive. On arrival at the lower level the luggage is taken from you and taken to your allocated room immediately.
I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel as I hope to stay here again in 2013.

Room Tip: Higher Floors are quieter but overall the hotel is excellent.

Good Points:
*Location - near good restaurants and shopping areas
*Linens are okay, pillows were fluffy
*Concierge was helpful
*Housekeepers were very attentive

Not so good points:
*CRT television
*Rooms were a bit run down and a bit small
*Some staff were not welcoming and friendly, especially the Front Desk Clerk on duty at the time we checked in named Richard Mok. They made us wait for hours to check in without any explanations or apologies even though the standard check in time was 2PM.
*No free wifi
*We were checking in as a family and we got 2 rooms, 1 for my mom and dad and 1 for my baby sister and me, but our rooms were poles apart.

Room Tip: Do not expect a spectacular view.

We had our Christmas Holiday in Hongkong. Stayed at Kimberley Hotel for 6 days. True, Kimberley's location is perfect. It is just a few steps to The One Mall, The Miramar Mall (Uniqlo outlet) and Granville Road (Cotton On outlet). Our rooms were located on the 8th floor and they were nice...no complaints (hot water is really scalding hot)...complimentary coffee and tea. Just two criticisms...one...wifi is not free and you have to pay 38 HKD for 1 hour...two is the long line to check in..we arrived at the hotel at 11:30 am. We were told to go back at 12:30 pm since our rooms were not yet ready. We went back at 1 pm and only 1 room was ready. Our 2nd room was ready by around 2:30 pm. I also had to give a 2000HKD bond at the front desk upon check-in which will be returned upon check-out. The trouble was our check out time was 4:30 in the morning so I had to spend all 2000HKD at the Duty Free Center in HKG airport. They also had a good buffet spread. Contrary to other reviews, the staff were nice...they might not be that friendly but it is in their nature. Overall, we had a very grand time in Hongkong. Thank you Kimberley!!!!

Room Tip: The rooms on the 8th floor are great!!!!!
