We stayed in Sheung Wan & spent plenty of time exploring it. There's lots of see & do, with heaps of interesting historic buildings & businesses.

Sheung Wan is a lively business and residential location between Central and Sai Ying Pun. It is home to the tourist-famed Western Market, Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, Sheung Wan Tram Terminus and Graffiti Street. It is also famous for its Sunday Street Market and a whole lot of Western cafes. It is residence to many foreign expatriates and a reasonable number of corporate Hong Kong. It's a very good place to wonder around (Sheungwandering) and enjoy the view or take health walks at the waterfront near the ferry terminal. My Instagram feed (sandaykc) has more images from these I posted here.

We followed the walking tour from the Monocle Hong Kong city guide. Hit some fun clothing and home goods stores, a few cafes, and learned a little bit of local history. Multiple options for great coffee too.

This is a place to feel like a busy hong kong person
The amount of people in this tiny area where the people got to work. This is the place where they must work in to be in the top.

But besides work. This place for tourist is a must where you will see the oldest land vehicle in Hong Kong.
The tram.
It is very cheap and lets you take in the sites .
But there is no Air Con so get ready for a bake in the summer and give up the seat to old people please

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Hong Kong Soho at #83 Jervois St, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong for 4D/3N. The location is good since it's only a minute away to Sheung Wan MTR station so it saves us a lot of Red Taxi Fare; the most expensive Taxi there, Next is Green Taxi, and Blue Taxi - the cheapest but only in Lantau. If you plan on using the MTR as your transpo during your whole stay then you must download their app or check their site and save the MTR Routes Map.

We love eating at Dim Sum Square just a minute walk from our hotel. there's also a lot of nice restaurants, grocery store, convenience store & cafe near.

If you're visiting HK Disneyland it's best to get vouchers before your trip at KLOOK.COM for discounts. PLUS it include 3-in-1 Disneyland Supreme Meal coupons each ticket (Meals at disneyland costs 80-150HK$ so expensive!).

You MUST rent a 3G pocket wifi at KLOOK.COM (with HK$500 deposit) at URoaming. it will be very very HELPFUL so you won't get lost! The wifi connection will help you getting to your destination using Google Map (or any alike APP) using your smartphone. URoaming staffs are very friendly and helpful.

BUT do not purchase the PEAK TRAM coupons! (again, at KLOOK.COM), even the package with Madamme Tussauds and Sky Pass, because you still have to queue in ticketing booth even buying an E-ticket, the minimum waiting time is 45mins!!! We end up not using our coupons that costs us HKD300 because falling in line that long is a waste of time if your schedule is packed and you only have 3-4days in Hong Kong.

It's best to choose the location of your accomodation carefully and Plan ahead of your trip for STRESS-FREE vacation!
