“Another must see”
Reviewed 23 February 2012

Good place to visit. Pavement artists can be good, shop around and haggle. It can get busy, especially around Bruce Lees's statue and star.
There is a viewing area for the Hong Kong light show.

“Best views of HKG”
Reviewed 23 February 2012

Go just after sunset for the best viewing of the light show on the skyscrapers across the harbor. Also if you are staying close by go for a misty early morning walk or jog just like the locals. Or just watch the old women doing tai chi.

“Nice view of the Harbor and Hong Kong island, interesting architecture”
Reviewed 22 February 2012

It is a very pleasant walk from the Star Ferry terminal to the end of the Avenue of the Stars. The view of the Harbor and Hong Kong island are nice and clock tower, Cultural Center, and Avenue of the Stars are interesting. The Avenue of the Stars is interesting even if you aren't a Hong Kong movie fan (after all hasn't everyone heard of Jackie Chan, Jet Li, & Bruce Lee). Watching people pose near the Bruce Lee statue is pretty funny.

“A refreshing escape from the crowds and noise....”
Reviewed 19 February 2012

....so get yourselves down to the promenade and join all the other tourists. It's one of the quietest places in HK which are very hard to find!

“Home to the Avenue of Stars”
Reviewed 19 February 2012

With the backdrop of Hong Kong Island what is not to love about the Tsim Sha Shui Promenade? Great for people watching and photography it is nice to walk from the Star Ferry terminal along the Avenue of Stars down to East Tsim Sha Shui. When you get there reward yourself with a lovely coffee from Sta Bucks and take in the view.
