Had brunch at this restaurant today with a group of 20 ppl. Kids friendly. Food variety was a bit lesser than expected but quality was quite decent. The foie gras was cooked perfectly.

Excellent menu and service. We had to board a cruise next day and unfortunately we had time for only one dinner!

Here you can eat real Italian cuisine, which is not easy to find in Asia. This restaurant is one of the oldest Italian restaurants in Hong Kong and has always been one of the best. Chef frequent replacement here, and in the past two years is a very good Sicilian chef, Claudio Dieli, he was very young but very very experienced and proficient in their own. You can rely on his recommendation, or choose from the menu of the month things, which can always provide seasonal ingredients and special surprises. Claudio's Sunday brunch (and the children's playground), introduced by the chef, is high-quality and cost-effective. The service was good, and some of the staff worked for a long time (this is rare in Hong Kong). The only flaw is the location, which is located in the basement of the Seaview Garden Hotel (hence no windows and scenery), but the environment is quite realistic. The restaurant is not cheap (except brunch), but the price reflects the high quality of ingredients. This is a good place for business dinner.

This restaurant was a disappointment in many ways. The good news is that the service and attention is what you would expect from a restaurant where you will spend $200US for a dinner for two without a bottle of wine.

The decor is very nice and subtly done.

The food was somewhat of a disappointment. My wife had the lasagna which was pretty good (heavy on the meat, light on the cheese and pasta). I had the spaghetti putanesca which was pretty bad. Al dente has not been translated into Chinese at this restaurant. The putanesca sauce was bitter and not well seasoned. Pasta was sticky and heavy.

The appetizer plate of antipasta was good but nothing special in any way.

Desert (non-Italian chocolate cake) was spectacular (large chocolate egg covering a dark chocolate cake onto which was poured hot whiskey sauce - melting the chocolate).

But an non-Italian desert doesn't make an Italian restaurant good. So average at best bordering on poor.

Other options that I saw (non-Italian versions of seafood and such seemed better).

Even though there were not enough waitress and waiters but the service was really good, attentive. Especially the restaurant manager James Wong he has been working there for 25 years , his professional attitude make me feel so pleased and happy.

I love the decoration with lots of colorful plates hang on the wall that make the restaurant very lively . Lighting on the ceiling so soft . Distance between sitting arrangement is very spacious.

We all love our food.

Choice of wine list and price are reasonable.
