$48 for the curry with rice and that was enough for two average eaters with a veg on the side. The wonton noodles were $27. You will be the only foreigner but they have an English menu. Great pip stop if you are in the ladies or Price Edward markets. Don't be put off by the decor.

Agree with other reviewers. Really good wonton noodles. In a very crazy part of HK (Mong Kok). I wouldn't make a special trip here, but if you're around Mong Kok area (goldfish market etc), then worth finding it. Looks divey inside and out, and I almost wondered about cleanliness, but who cares ... it's an authentic noodle shop, and chances are you'll be the only foreigner there.

There was seven of us, the wait staff moved other guests to accommodate us.
The wonton soup was superb.
The brisket noodles were to die for!
Not a place to smell the roses, very much eat your meal and move on.
Went with my kids and they loved it!

Place looks a bit shabby on outside as well as the insida, but don't lett that scare you away. I ordered the braised noodle w/ shredded pork and special sauce and my friend ordered the braised noodle with sliced beef. It was cheap (35-45HKD) and very fast serving. Not a very friendly staff, but not unpleasant either. You pay at the entrance. Bring the note you got with you.

This is an excellent noodles place on Fa Yuen street. We ate there once and decided to go back again. It is very convenient to the Ladies Market and close to the Mong Kok station. The service is fast and the food is cheap (we had 2 dinners for under HK$100). If you go alone, you might be seated with other people as they isn't a large restaurant. I had the noodles with spicy sauce and shredded pork the first visit and the noodles with spicy sauce and pig's leg the second visit. The pig's leg was hard to eat and didn't have much meat on it so I wouldn't recommend it. Our entrees came with tea and soup.

The menu has both English and Chinese so you point to the item you want. They will bring you a tab before the food and then you pay at the cashier near the door.
