Hotel lobby design is design and suits well for young travelers. Check-in process was efficient and prompt.

The room is spacious and modern simple look. But the design is tend to be very economical and cheap design. With paying at this rate i'll prefer to stay at really proper nice and glamour hotel design.

Housekeeping service is quite slow. I requested for a pillow, it delivered after ages and i fall a sleep, then they rang my door.

Lobby and Reception Service need to more pro-active.. !! They need high skilled Concierge. Because Reception Staff tend to be blur when i inquired about surrounding areas.

Nice Italian Restaurant Ocha and Bella. But the breakfast menu is very limited.

Special thanks for the Desiana for checking me in and guy with tie on 19 November evening for help my enquiry.

BIG DISSAPOINTMENT:
1. They need to service the lift. The lifts are very slow and the key card reading always fail.. !! Small and cramped lift..!!

2. A lot of mosquitoes at the lobby area.

This is a fairly new establishment with clean, comfortable, bright and airy rooms. The rooms are also well furnished, with wi-fi and good airconditioning. Close to Sarinah and some restaurants. There is a pool on the roof deck and laundry room is also provided.
Safe and secure as well.

Room Tip: Rooms on a higher floor away from the street are quieter.

This is my 2nd visit to the hotel (previously was when it was newly opened and named Citadines).

Rooms: clean, well-furnished, good AC (needed in hot & humid Jakarta) and selection of TV channels. Bathroom is kinda small, quite "squeezy" sitting down by the toilet for a medium built guy when it is about 20 cm away from the shower glass partition. Shower drain didn't work as well so your feet would be soaking in the water after your shower (not a big problem though). There was a laundry room on my floor but I didn't use it.

Pros: Ocha Bella restaurant downstairs serves good Italian food. Blue bird taxis are easy to flag off the road. Location is good, rather central and convenient to get around and find food or convenience stores. Check in and check out were a brisk, staff was as friendly as always.

Cons: No WIFI in the room (only in the restaurant and lobby). The loud noise from the nearby mosque still disturbs me every evening (around 4pm) and early morning (around 5am). It still goes on for about 30 mins which seems like forever when you are trying to get your fair share of sleep, and not everybody is a heavy sleeper. I doubt they would do anything about it.

I'm not sure how to put these into words... i'm speechless but i'll try. This place is AWESOME! Stayed there for 3 nights early this year but didn't get the chance to write a review. Here goes...

The location is in the heart n central of Jakarta, at the back of Sarinah (if you're a Manchester Utd fan..this is the place for you!) where Man Utd Cafe is at. Only a few minutes ride to Tanah Abang, Grand Indonesia, Mangga Dua, etc.

The studio room is spacey, equipped with a kitchenette + utensils + microwave oven. Very useful when you need to heat up food you bought from the "warong" (foodstall) along the streets at the back of the hotel. There's cable tv in the room so plenty of channels to choose from and watch. Bathroom was a bit small but it's fine.

The facilities around the hotel are great! Laundry room is available, so you can get your laundry done yourself. You are free to use the infinity pool, gym and resident's lounge - with breath-taking view of Jakarta. Business center is also available.

Breakfast was basic but the ambiance of the cafe is magnificent. I like all the details that were put in to making the hotel unique from the rest. Staffs were wonderful and friendly! Wifi is available at the lobby for free.

Not sure why it's not under Ascott (Citadines Quartier) anymore, hopefully the maintenance and the service is still the same. If you're looking for comfort, unique and centralized hotel which doesn't burn your pockets, this is definitely the place for you!

The hotel is in a very central location... the rooms are pretty new, spacious, bed is abit low but relatively comfortable. Would have preferred a larger bed and higher mattress. Bathroom was abit small and water was not flowing.. breakfast was ok, not much choice.. I had brunch at Penang bistro nearby...food is pretty good...
I would stay here for the location..
