“I will never go anywhere else!!!!”

I don't even know where to begin! My "HUSBAND" and I just got married here 13 days ago!!! And I have to say that the wedding was more than I could have ever imagined or asked for. I felt like a rock star here. The staff were absolutely amazing, they were totally accomodating, helpful, polite, friendly and cheerful. They made the whole wedding exprience a breeze. They took care of all the little details that I did not even think of. The stress about planning a wedding was minimal. And thanks be to God....the weather was perfect!!!!! It could not have been more PERFECT!!!!!

I know this might sound biased but this is not our first time to Boracay. Last year we were at another larger hotel that had nice rooms, 3 pools, a swim up bar, 2 restaurants and a larger chunk of land on the beach front. That being said, we enjoyed our stay there as well. However, after staying at The Mandarin Island, the atmosphere at The Mandarin was like a big hug. It is so much cozier, intimate, personable, and I never wanted to leave! I can not say enough positives things about The Mandarin. Not all of our gusts stayed here but enjoyed the pool, restaurant, beach front and nightly entertainment with us, and have said that they wished they booked here.

Thank you SO MUCH to everybody who works at Boracay Mandrin Island Hotel. I will not forget you all.

We are already talking about our next trip back....possibly our one year anniversary!!! :)

Room Tip: Ground floor, pool side is great. Especially if you have kids, like we do. Just so convenient for...

I read good reviews of their service so i decided to chose it for our 1st time here in March, but seriously I DID not experience any! My husband had specifically asked for baby cot for our 2yo gal. When we reached, we were told by the male staff my gal won't fit in, thou we insisted to have it, he refused to do so. We happened to chance upon an opened room which had a cot, the size was same as the one she slept in another hotel@cebu before we came here!!! On our last night, we need to do a printout for our flight & fwd to d service desk to help with the printing. We went first time to ask if we can collect d print, we were told to come later at night. so after dinner, we went again. There were 2 staff but we were made to wait for good ten mins. The male staff at service desk who was forever on the phone, then pulled out some papers and then circled PHP45 expecting us to pay. He did not even speak a word to us...which was shocking rude! The other lady staff just looked on! We were not told of any charges (we did it for free@cebu) ...so What kind of GOOD service is that?

The only good service was from the staff at Don Vito for our breakfast, served decent breakfast and daily eggs of your fav style. We had dinner once which was quite nice except for the raw oysters causing us food poisoning.

Room Tip: Rooms at the center building will face the sea but dont get the corner rooms as the room balcony fac...

The Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel is located on the White Beach at Station 2. Good location as a base and the hotel is okay but not as good as many travellers rate it. We had a Premier Sea View room with a Queen size bed and a spare bed (no idea why it was there but good for packing...). However, if it is called sea view then we expected sea view not pool view. Both the living room and bathroom are good. Small mini-bar with a few items which was very affordable. The swimming pool area is for swimming only and not for sunbathing as the sunbeds are located in the shade. The beach is only few step away with sunbeds provided by the hotel (towels from the reception). Breakfast was included in our room rate and served at Don Vito Italian Restaurant at the hotel but not worth the extra. Also, it states that it was voted the best restaurant in the Philippines in 2011, which is an over-statement and far OVER RATED. Pizza was ok but the base could be compared to a frozen pizza. Rather try Aria 5 min walk up the beach walkway.
Overall the hotel is okay and staff are friendly but a bit pricey for what you're getting. Do a search around looking for other hotels and read reviews from 2012 and 2011. We would probably choose another hotel next time.

Whenever I stay in Boracay, I make sure we get to stay in at least 2 or 3 hotels. This is to maximize our stay and experience Boracay on the different stretch of Boracay beach.
My return to Boracay surely included Mandarin in our itinerary. Mandarin never failed us and so I had to come back. Great location, friendly and accommodating staff, amazing view from the balcony, comfortable beds, sheets and pillows. Good location, free breakfast. At night we even got to watch a performance on the beach from our balcony. However, weak wifi internet signal when you're on the higher floor. But in the balcony, we got a bit of a signal which worked fine.

This is our second time in Boracay Mandarin and service has always been excellent. It is hard to try anything else in Boracay. Location is perfect and the restaurant food is top notch! Ms. Lily is always accommodating, smiling and you have a sense of feeling at home once you meet her. View is spectacular where we stayed. The pizza in Don Vito's is my favorite and is a must to try...Stay in Boracay Mandarin hotel. You will have a memorable experience!....Mark and Rose

I find this hotel very charming and lovely.. just a few steps away and the white sand is within your reach.. staff in the hotel are very courteous. We were all 5 adults and 1 kid on this trip, we got two premier seaview rooms.. My son love to take the plunge in their pool after swimming in the beach..Their room are large that can accommodate 4 pax with still enough space to move around.. I love their veranda, you can see the beach right away and the people strolling around.

Ofcourse you can hear the live band infront of the hotel, but the noise is not a big deal for us, we understand that this is boracay anyway! The place is expected for central of fun and action. Best thing in this hotel is the location, just few minutes walk to the D’mall and a lot of restaurant nearby.. The area is not so crowded compared near ASTORIA where lots of stall/small stores infront of the hotel.

Breakfast is nice, thay have enough choices! Love the ambiance of their restaurant. They have free wi-fi. I only found one negative thing in this hotel, we found a small hole to their bathrobe. Sound silly, but for supposed to be a luxury hotel, it is expected that amenities should be perfect.

Everything went well from the time we were pick-up from the airport up to time we were about to leave, staff was so attentive guiding us when we were transferred to KALIBO, if its not because of the airphilippines overshoot in the runway, our vacation was supposed to be perfect!

Anyway, it’s still a nice hotel! Recommend it to the family! We had a great vacation in Boracay!
