There will always be arguments about whether a plate of Nasi Lemak should cost as much as $12.80, when much cheaper alternatives are available. But don’t knock it ‘til you’ve tried it.
The restaurant setting is simple but effective. Whether you are dining alone or in a large group, the seating is accommodating.
The menu is streamlined and easy to understand. And thanks to its simplicity, the service is quick and efficient. My Nasi Lemak arrived within minutes of ordering.
The portion size is generous - two large pieces of Fried Chicken. There was more than enough Coconut Rice.....
.... and the Sambal Balachan was sublime. In some restaurants, the chillie paste can be overpowering. But at The Coconut Club it was punchy and tasty.
The Coconut Club is outstanding. A great example of how an eatery can justifiably charge more, if it gives more.
