Having had superb teppanyaki in Tokyo several times, I wanted to take my wife and daughter to one. our hotel booked ahead and we sat at the counter and ordered the wagyu beef set menu which included several dishes, many prepared on the hot plate in front of us. Good food, prepared by young Japanese chef trained in Singapore. Compared to the very experienced chefs in Tokyo, the cooking was less entertaining but a reasonable first experience for my wife and daughter. The price for three, inc. sake, was again reasonable at SG$ 390, though high for Singapore is 30-40% less than the best in Tokyo.
