You can find many kinds of food here - Malaysian, Chinese, Indian. There are also many drink vendors - fresh juices, beer, coffee, sugar cane juice. Its a great place to have a fast meal any time of the day or night.

In stead of de known and tourist packed places I like to mingle with the local people. At the Changi Village Hawker centre you will find a LOT of very small kitchens. They all have different dishes. The dinner ones have no drinks and there are dedicated drinks and desert stalls.
Pick and choose, try as much as you can!

My third time at Changi Village and the food at the Hawker Center just simply superb. You are really spoilt for choice. My advice is to wonder round and try and take it all in, the sights, sounds and smells. It overwhelms the senses. Then be adventurous and try a few dishes that you are unlikely ever to get at home. Black carrot cake, Satay BeeHoon for instance. Then have a desert, Chendol Malaka with beans and corn or the Commando desert or the deep fried Banana Pisang. All totally gorgeous and yummy. I'm back in late June ... I like it that much. Oh - and its incredibly cheap as well.

It was just right across the street from the CHangi Village Hotel. Very convenient for the breakfast if you don't have time or money for the hotel buffet breakfast. We enjoyed rice porridge and some dimsum, which was a perfect breakfast to start a day.
