Room, very small even though it's an upgrade. Bathroom claustrophobic, shower head does not sit properly and generally very small. Breakfast was very poor with little choice. Overall looking tired. I will be taking this recommendation choice up with trailfinders who booked this on our behalf. A busy hotel about 35-40 minutes from changi airport.

Very convenient location as the MRT and Kopitiam (food court) is right below the hotel. Room is a little small, but thats kinda expected for Singapore so no complaints there. Cleaning service can be a hit or a miss. I stayed here couple of times, there were times when the bathroom is not properly clean when we arrived. Another time, our room wasn't made up when we came back around 8pm. Another time, out amenities (soap, shampoo, lotion) were not added. Called room service couple of times and no one came, so I had to go down to the service desk.

I've stayed at this hotel on four seperate visits to Singapore. The Lavender Metro Station is at the doorstep and on the same line to the airport. It is modern, clean conveniently located to every tourist sports & shopping.

We traveled as a family and stayed here from 15th to 20th May 2015. It is a very busy hotel with over 800 rooms so all the time the lobby, the lifts and the hotel overall is buzzing.

We were three of us, the room was small as you would expect in Singapore just enough to keep the luggage and move around, but when one has gone for holiday you just need a good place to sleep which this hotel provided.

The hotel was busy as such the room was not serviced for two days however third day onwards they did it without fail. I did not raise an issue about it however they did it on their own.

Additionally the hotel does not offer many vegetarian food options which was a dampener, in breakfast also you had bread, jam, fruits, cornflakes, milk and french fries but beyond that nothing was available for vegetarians. For us it was enough however if you are expecting to eat anything beyond this the hotel does not offer, even during lunch or dinner you would not get anything Indian here.

One area of concern is that the hotel being busy the lifts take a lot of time to go up and down and they seem to come in a very erratic order, you may find that a lift is just above your floor but that lift skips you as you want to go down but another one comes to pick you up, also the food smell travels in the lift which can be nauseating at times.

If you are in habit of traveling with lot of luggage then in many hotels across Singapore you would find difficulty in storing on keeping your luggage.

Singapore has only three types of climate hot, hotter and rains so it is better to carry cottons and make sure you check around nearby malls and carry a lot of water with you when on your sight seeing.

Places to eat are in an around Little India and Mustafa Center, you would get all kinds of Indian food and will not feel if you are out of India.

Places to visit are Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay, Night Safari, River Safari, Singapore Zoo, Jurong Bird Park, Sentosa Island, Universal Studios.

Singapore is not a large country and from North to South would be approximately 42 square kilometers and from East to West should be approximately 23 square kilometers, however it is well planned and well maintained.

In Singapore please be sure of timings as the pickup and drops happen as per strict timings, as Indians some of us take 10 - 15 delay as normal but not in Singapore they drivers would give you a dressing down even if you are 5 minutes late, so wherever you are going ensure you are ready for pick up 5 minutes before the scheduled time.

For shopping mustafa center or small souvenir shops in an around are good, if you are looking for branded stuff go to Oxford street and if you are looking for good stuff but not branded go to Bugis junction.

The city starts early, schools by 7:30, Government offices by 8:30 and Private offices by 9:00.

Please do not litter around as you may land yourself in trouble.

A nice city and a must visit, however please go with enough money in your pocket as in tourist attractions they click your photographs and buying it becomes pretty expensive.

Room Tip: Choose a room facing the bay
